GENERAL STAY INFORMATION

  • Our season runs from Memorial Day to Columbus Day.

  • Check-In @ 11 am - 5 pm (Pre-Registration is Available).

  • Check-Out @ 11 am.

    • Sites must be ​vacant and clean​, or a site cleaning fee may apply.

    • We have late check-out available for a small fee. Please check at the office for availability.

  • Quiet time is ​10 pm until 9 am.

    • Subject to change at management’s discretion**

  • You are only allowed ​TWO vehicles per site

    • Any vehicles exceeding (2) per site must park in designated visitor parking area(s).

  • Campsite rentals are based on a family consisting of up to TWO (2) Adults, and up to FOUR (4) children.

Deposit is due at registration to lock in a date and/or site.

There will be a $25 fee for any cancelled reservations.

NO REFUNDS for early departure.

Seasonal rates available. Please contact management for more information.

For seasonal campers, all fees are due and payable per terms of rental agreement.

Late payment fee will apply.

VEHICLES

SPEED LIMIT IS 5 MPH

A maximum speed of 5 miles per hour throughout the campground will be tolerated, including all vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles, mopeds, scooters, or any other wheeled method of transportation.

Safety is our #1 concern

We have many kids playing around. None to spare! Thanks for your consideration.

You are only allowed ​TWO vehicles per site.

Every vehicle on your site MUST be registered with the office.

All visitors must park at designated visitors parking area(s).

Do not​ park on other campsites.

Washing of motor homes or other vehicles is only allowed at certain times w​ ith permission.

No charging of fluids such as oil, gas, or antifreeze shall be allowed.

No repairs shall be made to vehicles, except emergency repairs.

CONDUCT

This property is privately owned, and management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

Tobacco use is prohibited in ​all​ public areas at the campground and is only permitted at your own campsite.

No occupant shall create a nuisance or interfere with the enjoyment of others of the premises.

○ The use of vulgarity by adults or children will not be tolerated.

Subjecting neighboring campsites to socially unacceptable behavior is a violation of Fayette Family & Friends rules.

Alcoholic beverages are to be consumed on private sites only. Public consumption is discouraged unless at campground events.

No business or commercial activity of any kind is permitted on the property.

Persons engaging in illegal​ ​ activities will be subject to eviction​, and local authorities will

be notified.

Firearms, fireworks, f-shooters, slingshots, and BB guns are PROHIBITED.

Absolutely ​no electric heaters or electric blankets​ are to be used here.

GENERATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

Please report ALL inappropriate conduct and/or situations to management.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

All personal property brought into the campground is at the registered camper’s risk and campground management shall bear no responsibility for the damage, loss or theft of such property.

All campers assume the responsibility of maintaining proper insurance on their camper and personal property.

We are not responsible for any damage to any camper or personal property for any reason, including an act of nature (i.e. wind, lightning, hail, fallen branches, trees, etc.), accident, fire, or vandalism.

We will not be responsible for accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.

INDEMNITY

The use of any equipment or facilities of the campground by any person is at that person’s risk. The registered camper agrees to indemnify and hold the campground owners harmless from any loss, cost, or damage incurred by it as a result of the registered camper, his/her members, invitees, and guests.

CHILDREN

Children must follow all rules & regulations of Fayette Family & Friends Campground.

Campers / Parents are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children, friends of their children, and their guests at all times. Our goal is to make your camping experience safe, relaxing, and a great deal of fun. We look for your cooperation to attain that goal. Children under the age of 12 must be under the supervision of a guardian at all times.

Children under the age of 16 must observe a curfew of 9pm.

All children must return to their campsite by 9pm, unless accompanied by an adult.

Children under the age of 18 cannot be left to occupy the campsite overnight without adult supervision.

Bathrooms / Showers

To avoid accidents or injury in these areas, it is requested that an adult accompany children under 8 years of age to all restrooms / showers.

VISITORS / GUESTS

Any person or persons who are not named on the initial registration form as a “registered camper”, and who has entered the campground is considered a visitor.

Day visitors​ must check out at the office and leave the campground by 7pm, unless registered as an overnight guest and have paid the applicable fee.

Overnight visitors​ must check out at the office and leave the campground by 10 am or an additional fee may be applied.

Registered campers who have visitors that are NOT REGISTERED will be charged the visitor’s fee for their guest according to the scheduled rates.

Failure to register visitors and/or guests will result in a $10 penalty fee in addition the regular fee.

There may be no more than 6 people registered to one site at any given time, either on a transient basis or a seasonal basis.

You are responsible for your visitors, so if you are not on the premises, your visitors will not be permitted into the campground.

State law requires us to know who is in the campground and on the premises at all times. THANK YOU!

CIGARETTES / CIGARS / SMOKING

Tobacco use is prohibited in ​all​ public areas at the campground and is only permitted at your own campsite.

Cigarette / cigar butts left on the ground are not healthy for our children and animals!

Please do not throw or deposit cigarettes or cigar butts on the ground. The discarding of cigarette butts can be done in a neat and safe manner, by putting them in the proper receptacle containers.

No chewing tobacco or “snuff” shall be used if such use involves spitting on the ground.

PLEASE, NO Smoking in the Pool area, or common areas such as the Rec Hall, and Game Area.

PLEASE, NO Smoking in any building, rental camper, cabin, or gatherings where children are present. Thank you!

BICYCLES

For everyone’s safety, the following policies will be strictly enforced:

HELMETS must be worn at all times by everyone under the age of 16.

Bicycle riding is allowed between sunrise and sunset.

Bicycle riding after dark ONLY permitted if bicycle is equipped with a headlight (or flashlight) for proper visibility.

Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent.

Bicycles must be parked at designated areas only.

Safe bicycle riding is expected.

Failure to comply with bicycle policies will result in loss of riding privileges.

Parents are responsible for advising their children and visitors of our bicycle policies.

Maine law requires that all children under the age of 16 years must wear safety equipment to include a helmet. Please take all actions necessary to minimize the potential for injury and make your camping experience as safe as possible.

PETS

Only two pets of normal household variety are allowed per site.

There is a fee of $5 per night, per pet.

Proof of rabies vaccination is ​REQUIRED​.

Pets are NOT allowed with visitors or overnight guests.

Pets are only allowed subject to management approval.

Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

Pets are to be contained within your campsite, unless in otherwise designated walking areas.

Any waste must be cleaned up, ​immediately​.

Failure to clean up after your pet will result in an additional fee.

Second offense, eviction.

Pet owners have a high level of responsibility- and we take it seriously.

Excessively noisy pets are not allowed.

Aggressive dogs are not allowed.

Excessive barking / noise shall be cause for eviction.

Pets are not allowed in public areas such as the Rec. Hall, Pool, and Game Areas.

Pets are not allowed to roam around freely at ANY time.

Pets are allowed in designated walk areas on property.

Excessively barking dogs will not be tolerated, and if barking persists owners will be asked to remove pet(s) from the property.

Pets are not to be left unattended at ANY TIME.

QUIET HOURS & CAMPFIRES

Quiet time is ​10 pm until 9 am.

Subject to change at management’s discretion.

Quality of rest and relaxation is important to all campers, so please refrain from loud noises and disturbances during this period.

All stereos, radios, tv’s, instruments, or other noise-making devices must be turned off during this time, and voice kept to a whisper.

Gauge: If you can be heard as someone walks by, it’s too loud! Please lower voices by 10 pm.

Remember, your voice carries. Any conversations, joke telling, storytelling, laughter, etc., shall be kept to a reasonable volume, to not bother other campers.

During non-quiet hours, campers and their guests shall not operate any radio, stereo, tv, instruments, or other noise-making device at such an unreasonable volume as to be a disturbance to any other campers.

We promote the use and enjoyment of campfires w​ ith ​guidelines:

Must be contained in the fire pit, maximum 3 feet high. NO bonfires.

No burning of trash, or pallets with nails. We clean fire pits. Broken glass, nails, debris, etc. will result in an additional fee.

No fires shall be left unattended and must be extinguished before retiring or leaving the site.

Have a hose or fire suppression equipment available and handy. Safety first!

No flammable or harmful liquids are allowed on sites.

Fires must be started with fire starters.

No firewood from out of state. It’s the law​!

Firewood is available at the office and / or local store.

Prevent the possible spread of disease or infestations, buy wood where you camp!

Campfires must be extinguished by 11 pm. Please think of your fellow campers.

All playgrounds and Rec Hall are closed from 10 pm to 9 am.

Please be courteous and turn off area lights or flood lights by 10 pm.

Bug Zappers, Bug Lights, etc. must be turned off during quiet hours.

GENERATORS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

FIREARMS / FIREWORKS

Firearms, fireworks, f-shooters, slingshots, and BB guns are PROHIBITED.

The use, display and possession of firearms, air arms, paintball guns, f-shooters, slingshots, B.B. guns, fireworks, explosives of any type, or

any type of weapon is ​STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

Illegal activities are not tolerated.

Violation of this rule will result in ​immediate eviction​ and removal of your personal effects, and we will notify the authorities.

Please report all inappropriate or suspicious situations to management.

ALCOHOL, DRUGS, PARAPHERNALIA, AND ILLEGAL ACTIVITY

No occupant shall create a nuisance or interfere with the enjoyment of others of the premises.

No business or commercial activity is permitted on the property.

The use or sale of any type of drug is strictly prohibited.

Illegal activities are not tolerated.

Violation of this rule will result in ​immediate eviction and​ removal of your personal effects, and we will notify the authorities.

Please report all inappropriate or suspicious situations to management.

RECREATIONAL VEHICLES

Use of ATV’s, dirt bikes, mini-bikes, roller blades, skateboards, longboards and radio controlled items such as planes, bikes and drones is prohibited.

Golf carts are not allowed.

MOTORCYCLES

In order to provide access privileges to occupants and visitors with motorcycles, while at the same time maintaining the quality of life standards presently enjoyed on property, the below rules and regulations will govern motorcycle usage while on property:

Motorcycle access is allowed only between 8am and 9pm.

All motorcycles must be registered, insured, and have a state inspection sticker.

Maximum of 2 motorcycles per site.

Excessive noise will not be permitted.

STORAGE, TRASH, AND RECYCLING

Please keep your site neat and clean at all times.

Clutter will not be allowed on sites.

Toys and lawn chairs must be stored when you are not on your site.

Do not throw garbage in bath house containers.

Garbage must be removed from your site and taken to the dumpster area on the property. Garbage cans are not allowed on the property.

SINGLE SORT SYSTEM

Please place ​ALL RECYCLABLES​ in barrels near the dumpster (

i.e., newspaper, corrugated cardboard, returnable cans and

bottles, plastic milk containers and water containers, etc.)

The TRASH dumpster is labeled TRASH. Household trash ONLY, generated here while you camp.

DO NOT BRING TRASH FROM HOME. Trash is a major expense for us. Help us keep it to a minimum.

Please RECYCLE and join us in being responsible stewards of our environment.

SEWER / GREY WATER / TANK VALVES

State law prohibits the discharge of grey water, or black water

(sewer) on the ground or stored in containers.

The camper agrees that he / she shall not cause or allow black water or grey water to be emptied on the ground.

Sink water or dish water must be emptied in the sink outside the bathrooms or in the dumping station.

MANAGEMENT’S DISCRETION

i will be putting half of the season payment of 1250.00 on Saturday May 28th, 2022, and the second Payment of 1250.00 on June 25th, 2022
